Until 25 February, it will be possible to see the exhibition dedicated to Il Guercino at the Pinacoteca Nazionale in Bologna. Dedicated to some of his most important paintings, the exhibition focuses on the different stages of his activity, including the secrets of his success and his relationship with his patrons and collaborators. The aim is to tell his life story starting from these situations.
The exhibition includes 20 works, including the masterpieces Madonna del Passero (1615-1616), Saint Sebastian being cared for by Irene (1619), The Vestizione di San Guglielmo (1620) and Saint Bruno in Adoration of the Madonna and Child in Glory (1647).
