From 11 to 17 September, the 29th edition of the Biennale del Muro Dipinto (Biennial Exhibition of Painted Walls) will be held in Dozza. The famous village of Dozza considered one of the most beautiful in Italy and characterised by its streets and the majestic Rocca (fortress), will host numerous artists who will create stupendous frescoes on the town walls, beginning evocative open-air art gallery that attracts thousands of tourists from all over Italy and Europe every year.
Among the more than 200 artists who have taken turns since the first edition in 1960 are illustrious names such as Sebastian Matta, Bruno Saetti, Tono Zancanaro, Renzo Grazzini, Giuseppe Zigaina, Luca Alinari, Bruno Ceccobelli and Ubaldo Della Volpe.
During the week of the Muro Dipinto, the town of Dozza, located near Imola and about 40 minutes drive from the Locanda dell’Orsa Bologna, will be filled with exhibitions, concerts and free meetings open to the public.
