From 1 February to 9 June next, the Fondazione Palazzo Boncompagni, in collaboration with Galleria Cavour 1959, is organising and hosting an exhibition by internationally renowned artist Mimmo Paladino.
The event, curated by Silvia Evangelisti, will present important works, paintings and large-scale sculptures that narrate the artist’s poetics, documenting his research over the last twenty years.
Among these, it is impossible not to mention the monumental installation of thirteen black horses emerging from a square platform, which stands in the centre of the Sala delle Udienze Papali to welcome visitors. Inside the covered Loggia, on the other hand, it will be possible to see two tall, hieratic bronze figures of Warriors in addition to the splendid installation of seven figures – ideograms of Respiro from 1995 and a large bronze helmet from 1998 furrowed in relief with arcane signs – numbers, labyrinths, letters of an unknown idiom.
